The organisation established with the mission of social and national service. Established in november 1992 in the memory of great freedom fighter Late Mahavir Singh, The Trust was registered under the Indian Trust Act 1882, in February 1993. Income Tax Exemption has been granted to MMT under 80G of the Income Tax Act., and the Trust is also registered under 12A of the I.T. Act. The head office of the Trust is located at the village Bishanpur (P.O.Baika-Bishanpur, via:Ghoghardiha) Distic: Madhubani, Bihar (INDIA) with a view to serve the rural people and the deprived lot of the this country. The Delhi Branch Office is situated at 1508/B-1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070, Darbhanga Branch Office is located at the village Sriram Pipra, P.O. Anandpur, Distt : Darbhanga (Bihar) The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees. The Board, which is represented by the distinguished persons from verious section of the society works with the motive of service of society, or humanity as a whole, without discrimination of cast, creed, colour religion, or region. The Chairperson of the Trust is also the executive Trustee. However. day to day work of the Trust is attended by the Secretary, who is also responsible for implementing various programmes and projects of the Trust. The main source of Trust fund is donation from the public, and grant in aid from the Government and diffrernt donor agencies/corporate Houses.

CENTRE FOR ART AND CRAFT : works for promotion of local art, painting and drama, in which Mithila region has been traditionally very rich. It also intends to revive the house-hold tradition of world famous Madhubani painting and encourage the local production of handicraft items for generating fruitful employment for rural poor esp. women folk. It has already organised various traiing programmes for the weavers painters and craftmen and women.

Flood relief and welfare Activities : Situated in the Himalayan foot hills, this region is heavily affected by floods from due reivers like KOSHI, BHUTHI and KAMLA BALAN etc. on regular basis.This organisation has been engaged in flood relief activities since 1995. In addition to this Trust has supported various families affected by fire. It has also organised poor feeding and distribution of blankets among the poor and old villagers, who are financially not in position to afford warm clothes on yearly basis. The supports preorided by the Trust to the earthquack affected people of the 'Bhuj' area of Gujrat has been highly appreciated.
H E A L T H
It has been established with the motto of improving hygiene and healthy life for the rural masses, esp. for the welfare of women, children and aged persons, with emphasis on small family norms. It also intends to provide free medical facility to the needy. The future plan is to start a 4-Bed Hospital after completion of the new buildings. Medical campus and medicin distribution camps are organised on regular basis.
S P O R T S
SPORTS & YOUTH ACTIVITIES : The trust has been orgnising diffrent sports events on annual basis.It has organised Vollyball Tournaments on the occasion of Republic Days and has organised athelatics competetion on yearly basis.In addition to this, it has also been organising different cultural programmes and 'Kavi Sammelans' on regular basis.
YOUTH CLUB : It consists of "YUVAK MANDAL" and " MAHILA MANDAL", which works with the purpose of motivating and training rural and unemployed youth for social transformation and economic development. They work in group for achieving all other goals of social welfare. It also organises sports events and adventure trip.




NATURE CLUB : Has been established for generating awareness for preservation of Eco-Balance, Flora and Fauna and Wildlife among the rural and urbon youth.

EDUCATION CENTRE : It consists of Literacy Centre and Centre of Knowledge. The purpose of the Litracy Centre is to help in achieving the national goal of mass literacy, which is key to the success of the programme of family-welfare and population control, apart from improving general condition of the people. On the other hand, Centre of knowledge is meant to impart quality education to the children of the village.

KASTURBA GANDHIAVASIYA BALIKA VIDYALAYA : The Trust has been provided with the honour of running the first Kasturba Gandhi Avasiya Balika Vidyalaya (at the Loukhi Block) of the Madhubani District since Feb 2006. Loukhi is boarding Nepal. Ravaged by floods from the Koshi and and Kamalabalan rivers, this region has the lowest rate of female literacy. The selected girl students have shown very encouraging tendency to learn. This NGO intends to run more such Avasiya Vidyalaya in future for girls child labourers and non-school going children of the poorest section.

1. To work of promotion of the values of freedom, social unity and eqality, social justice, love for mother land and working for the prosperity of the masses in general and deprived section in particular.

2. Education of the masses, eradication of illiteracy and inculcation of scientific-temper and reading habits through various means.

3. Improvement of public-health and sanitation,to spread family-welfare awareness and small family norms through various programmes. To open and run rehablitation centre and de-addiction clinics for the drug-addicts, helping handicapped, orphaned and oldage persons by all means. Generating awareness against the danger of AIDS.

4. Welfare of women and children, eradication of social evils like dowry system, female infanticide and other descrimination against women and girl-child in particular.

5. Development village and cottage industries, folk art and craft, painting, dance and drama.

6. To encourage sports, games physical culture and other activities of adventure.
